Home Sweet Home

This is my home. Isn't it just precious? I mean check out the yellow door! It has been such a great place to live; close to everything and just so comfortable. What makes this place home though is the company I share it with. I moved into this house not knowing any of my roommates and I can honestly say now, 7 months later that these ladies are my closest friends here in DC and I would be lost without them. And here are a few of the reasons I adore them:

1. They love cookie dough about as much as I do.
2. They are willing to dress up in Emo clothing (for Halloween) just to help me impress a boy... that's some serious roommate love.
3. Taking strolls down the Potomac or to the library are a part of our daily schedule.
4. Jane Austen is a staple in this house.
5. No girl dances alone. Impromptu dance parties are not a rarity ;)
6. They miss me when I'm traveling for work!
7. Talking politics never gets old.
8. A movie projected on a brown wall is just another weekend activity.
9. A date is a big deal no matter who goes on one... We're all waiting up for the details.

And the list could go on and on... but in the end these ladies rock my world and the fact that they put up with my rambling madness is proof they are pretty amazing.

Thanks, babe! Like I've said before, you are the glue that holds this house together. p.s. thanks for posting a picture of me with my eyes closed...

This is such a sweet post. I miss the cookie dough, discussing boys and politics on your bed, and taking walks around the neighborhood. I also miss how hot I looked that Halloween ;)
